Let me ask this before I forget again...why do you weld your panels in fully versus just stitching them in? I weld/fab on utility trucks for a living and you'd be amazed at how strong a few stitches are. I would rather see you stitch it in a few spots and use seam sealer than lay all that weld down on such thin /small sheets like that. Just my opinion...

Well last weekend I pulled the motor off of the stand and installed the CSR Aluminum flexplate.
Then I bolted up the Xtreme built TH350 and CSR Carbon fiber trans shield.
Then I dropped the motor and trans in the car and didnt have a chance to take pictures but will take some and update soon. All this week the only thing ive made any progress with is this beast

Got back in town from working in death valley the last two weeks to find a bunch of parts. I now have the hood brackets, all my gauges, my sway bar, and my hood SHOULD be waiting for me in the parts department at my work. Im a bit dissapointed that I may bot be able to make the event I wanted to make on memorial day but im still going to try like hell.

Thanks! Yea I like it alot too, especially when the battery box gets mounted. I still have a good amount of cleanup to do back there and some small patch panels to make but its coming along.

Havent had alot of time to work on it lately, in the process of buying a house right now...with two acres for a future shop and a three car garage so I can actually work on it inside
Ive been sizing up the hood rails, they really dont seem too bad to make fit. That will be one of my next projects. Im thinking ill use a little bit longer rivets and put small washer on the bottom side to give it a little more strength.
Ive been talking with Madman about my rear suspension. The body isnt coming down quite enough on the axle, Steve and I both think its due to the shocks being mounted up higher.
So im going to cut off the tabs its mounted to now and move them down to the lower mounts. Then I can weld in my Midwest Anti Roll Bar.

I'm borrowing a few ideas from you for my t-top well removal. After trying to fill my fuel cell with it down in the t-top well, I decided real quick that the floor was getting raised so I could raise up the cell.

Cool, I was planning on putting a cell back there but since my car will be track only I'm just going to mount a small cell up front. Ca really sucks for cars like this, even if the cops do leave you alone the potholes will rip your car apart.
