Default Heads or NO2??

Im thinking of adding a bottle to my car. Its a MS4 6 speed with 4:56s. At first I planned on staying N/A..but after buddys cars get faster and faster I want to stay on top. I really dont know my goals with the car, its just a weekend toy. I love how everything works (ac heat ect) but Im wainting to go faster.

I figure porting a set of LS6 heads cost about what a good nitrous kit and whatever else I need.

What would you guy do? Iv never been a nitrous fan but a blower or any real kinda boost is out of my reach..

nitrous is awesome, takes a lil to figure out, but once done, you can really use it to get moving fast. It can get expensive tho filling bottles, takes time waiting for your bottle to reach good temp to get the best hit outta the bottle. your not going to hit the same power #'s by just doing heads, not even close, but then you don't have to worry about spending $ every wknd on filling your bottle. I have to admit, once you get nitrous in your blood, its hard to find an cure to get rid of it. It is bada$$.
Could be costly tho good kit, bottle heater, purge, would be good idea for a controller being your an m6. GL

i think you know my input lol. even if you change your mind, a kit can be removed easily.

Yeah Im afraid Ill need to change gears. Wes says try it and see what happens.. Im in Kansas for a few more weeks but when I get back I plan on gettin real serious about gettin a kit. I like the Nitrous Outlet kits..seem to be clean and a lot of guys use them. My main worry is how good the Solenoids are..

I say build NA power then put a kit on it. Doing it the other way around is almost cheating in my book.

$$$ For ET the Nitrous is the best choice, and no one said you need to run 150, even a 100 would make the car siginifgantly faster.

There are times on SOME LS1's that the head change does not always make a signifigant increase in HP.
