Nutswinger!! Just saying. You said you didn't know of another company, I gave you one that equals yanks performance at a much cheaper price, whether you like it or not is completely irrelevant.
Out of curiosity, how many ptc cars with similar size converters/mods have you drove at the strip/on the road/etc etc?

My PTC hits harder than the Vig4400 or Yank3600 (honestly harder than any converter I have ever owned/took a ride in). The Vig hit a little harder than the Yank but I am positive if the Vig and Yank were the same size the Yank would have been a bit more superior.

I love driving my car on the street and to OBX(5 hours away) as well. I wish I went with a bigger stall. Recently swapped to 373s for the cam swap and love it as well. I have driven many cars with the SS4000 and like it a lot for a street car or DD.
Wish I had 373s and the Ss400 with bolt ons last year...

If you have a 3.23 now and go with a 3600 converter, and, you put in a lower rear gear later, you should increase the stall speed a bit. The lower gear (ratio) will stall the converter harder than the lesser (ratio) will. As far as losing MPH, probably not and if you do the 3.73 or lower, you should pick up MPH. The car will accelerate faster all the way down the track. There is only so much gear and converter you can have without more engine mods. Yank- I tried four of them ten years ago in my stocker and none of them worked but I have heard their "streetable" converters work ok. I had a PTC in my undercover dragster and it was great. I have several friends that run PTC and have good luck with them. Kenny Ford is the owner, he used to work for TCI, hes a good guy to work with.

I just had my yank 4000 installed 2 days ago. I have been drving it to work and around to get through the break in period. It is a little different then then what you are used to. It takes a bit of throttle to get the car moving but its easy to get used to. My exhaust note is louder because of the higher RPMs when starting out. When the converter locks up you dont even realize that you have a higher stall installed. Im still getting used to it. I sure do love slammming the throttle and flying back into the seat!

Incorrect.. gears matter more in a manual than an auto.
If you do a lot of highway driving I would stick with 323s.. the converter won't effect highway mpg any, will be same as stock, gears will.
You might see a .1 difference with 373s, but I would be shocked if you saw anything more and would het money against it.
You will regret the 3200, trust me.3600 would be minimum, I would even think 4000 if i were you.
Fwiw, I DD a 4400 vig with 323s for almost a year.. my biddy dd a 4000ptc in his bolt on car, he cuts low 1.6 times with bolt one no tune and average weather, exhaust, lid and nothing else. Full weight and ran with **** in the back.
I dd my ptc 4000 before getting a dd for the winter for alkost a year.
The difference between a 3600 and 4000 normal driving is about 100rpms.. once it locks it is the same. The 60 will be about .07 quicker from what i have seen, or over .1 in the 1/8 etc.
Typed from phone.. hope I got my message across so you could understand it I didnt proof read lol

went from stock stall and 2.73s to a ss3600 and 3.42s and noticed a .3 decrease in 60' and .6 second decrease in 1/4mile time. mph went up by 2mph. I have about the same mods you have. Although idk how your car is doin 110 in a A4 even w just bolt ons, best my car ever did before the stall w LTs was 107. Either way, I'd expect at least that much of an improvement at the track.

Fastest I've ran is 12.87. I'll be adding a 4000 stall ( PTC thanks to lemons ) soon and switching to 3.73s hopefully I can knock off .6 12.2s with bolt ons stall and gears would be nice
