I wouldn't consider unless you plan on going 200 mph

Mine was still stable w/o at 181...

If you want the look and weight savings of an aftermarket drag wing take a look at Ed Quay racecars website. It's a nice compromise IMO.

I was thinking 185-195mph in there lol. Maybe my friend LastLS1 will get once since he's in the 180's.

I have seen too many of these cars at 150+ with no problems to even consider it until the car's in the 180+ range. They look killer, but it's like putting a parachute on a 125 mph car. Looks neat, but so not needed it really makes other people ask why.....

every car is different. the f-bodies seem to be more stable than the fox bodies. i just put a wing on my mustang because i feel it honestly needed one. the car just didnt feel stable above 150. hopefully the wing will help out.

It's a wheelbase thing IMO. Mustangs, especially fox cars are alot narrower/shorter. The car itself, is just alot smaller....

Kind of like a v8 vega, they NEVER felt safe, and weren't a ton different in size.

Wing, on a fox car is a different story. I'd put one on as soon as it was seeing 135 thru the traps

yes the fox body track is definitely more narrow. believe it or not the wheel base is less than an inch shorter though. the 4th gen f-body is 101 and the fox body is 100.5
me and a friend were curious one day so we measured a mustang and a camaro in his shop. i was shocked at the results.

Width, has alot to do with it I'm sure. I'm surprised to hear the length isn't much different. Must be the overall body that's longer on the f body cars.
