Default Spohn or Wolfe Racing

I am posting this here because first I am a FI guy, and I feel most in here are like me and not novices so I value your oppinions more, second, I am not sure were it would go,.

Question is about cages. Whos cage is better and why. Spohns 10 point chromoly or Wolfes? How much fittment issues did you have installing yours? How tight does it fit the car?

I know the Wolfe is more expensive then the Spohn. I know Wolfe cages fit very nice and the fittment is very good with their notched kit. What I don't know is Spohn's cages.

Thanks for the input, I will be ordering tomorrow.

I have a Wolfe 10 pt in mine. It fits good...I can't see anyone getting a prebent cage to fit much tighter than it.

Try giving Eric @ Midwest Chassis a call. They make a cage that they ship out and are reasonably priced. Just another option for you. Customer service is some of the best in the business!

I called and spoke with Spohn today. They were very helpful and answered all my questions. I did purchase the Spohn cage. They are all notched and the price is great. My 10 point chrome moly cage with swing outs on both sides was $699 shipped and it will be in its way to me in one week! The one from Wolfe was over $700, MILD STEEL, does not have the swing outs, and has a 3-4 week shipping time! I am not knocking Wolfe. I know they make an excellent product and the fitment is great. It came down to price, and shipping time. Sorry Wolfe.

Spohn one is made by competition engineering or S&W racecars, either way Ive seen it and they arent that great fitment wise anywhere. goodluck with it. Well worth the money to spend a little more.

Too late. It will be here before long. I will fix anything that is wrong with it. I will report back how well it fits and the ease of instalment.
