Default 60' Question on 28x11.5x16 ET Streets

For those that have ran 28x11.5x16 ET Streets, what are some of your sixties? Have you cut mid 1.3s? I would like to gather info on an M6 setup with 4.10s. If you have a different setup, please list what you have.
TIA

Stock shocks and M6 I cut 1.60 60s which isnt impressive, but really need a good shock to help the hit and would bog bad and havent found the happen medium with tire pressure. This is with 4.56s gears. 1.3 60s with a M6 would be getting it done almost sounds impossible lol. I should get some 1.5s this year with less weight and a good shock.

What is the point when a 28in tire is better? Think it's needed in an auto with 3.42s?

Gary,
I have no experience with the 28s, but with your power level and gears, i think that you will be able to take advantage of the taller tire to cut 1.3s

hope that helps

What size rim are they mounted on? We never cut better then 1.5's with them. They would hook then the car would unload and spin just a little. With a full suspension you might get a 1.3. I'm thinking with a M6 it will shock them and they won't handle it. How much power are you making? The side wall on them is a little stiffer then a true slick. They usually like more air pressure then a true slick. Thats just from our expierence . Last night at the track a guy was running some ET streets. I didn't notice the size. He had them down to 10 lbs and just spun bad. We told him to air them up and he did better. My son then told him to do a hit on some clean concrete and look at the pattern they lleft. He came back and said they were running on the edges. That was at 15 lbs of air pressure. We usually started at 20 and worked down.
We cut our first 1.3 on a Hossier 28-10 -16 slick. FWIW

What width 8"?

If they are brand new they might hook. I didn't like them on the top end they always felt like the car was dancing. If it was me I would run a drag radial say a 255/50/16. Your sixity foot won't be much worse if any. On the top end you'll gain stability and 1-3 mph.

A 1.3 is a fast 60' for a dot tire. I know, drag radial cars run 7's and such on them but watch how they wrinkle up the radials.

The car is already hitting hard. What tires are on it now? The ET's streets? I would try the drag radial and see if you can't get into the 9's. If you can get them to hook you'll pick up on the top for sure. Your right about where we run. Friday night we ran a 10.1 at 132 with a 107 in the 1/8 with a 1.39 60'
We are running out of 3rd gear. With a true slick you should get there.

No it will kill what gear you have. I'm running the Hoosiers because it fits the rims. I also have 4:11's so I can lose some. The taller tire should help MPH if you have the proper gears

I can't leave off the trans brake with them either.

You still should be able to walk it out of the hole. I don't own a M6 so I can't say for sure. In my opinion ET streets don't work either.

We cut 1.5's all day on the radials having the spray kick on after the 60'. Like you stated M6's and Auto's are not the same.
