Default 3 busted QA1's

Hey guys, it looks like its time to upgrade my shocks. I have 2 busted front shocks and one rear. They are the SA QA1's. I called them about a rebuild and they have lost their mind. 100 bucks a piece plus shipping both ways!! I can buy the shocks new for 139.00 each. Anyway im leaning towards the Afco's or maybe some Strange shocks and i have a few questions.

1) What will be the best route. DA up front w/ SA out back? Or SA up front w/ DA in the rear?

The car is a 275 RS car that will be making about 750 rwhp on gas and i dont want a big wheelstand tearing it up. Thanks guys

At that HP level I would say DA all around. The AFCO SA shocks are 199.00 each and the DA are 299.00. Per your plan you are looking at 200.00 more but workth every penney.

We can get them for you. If you are set on DA/SA go DA front and SA rear.

If you can swing DA all the way around that would be your best choice. Strange is clearly your best bang for the buck but Afco's are a good quality shock no doubt and why we offer both choices. You are looking at $249 Each for D/A Strange or $149 Each for single and those are shipped prices through us.

Then to mount them correctly if you are doing doubles you will need a lower shock bracket because of the **** configuration and we make one to work with any rear end and will not have the clearance issue of the bracket hitting the shock like most have.

Any questions let me know.

Why most go DA on the front is to control the front end in between shifts, for example M6 cars. That is why it is most important to have DA on the front, single will work fine for most applications especially in the rear.

Thanks guys. I am leaning towards da up front and sa out back. I want the car to hook up and come back down like a butterfly with sore feet. ;-)

That would work OK. One thing to consider is that a DA in the rear will help plant the tire AND control how fast it unloads. At 750 RWHP and a 275 tire that may be important.

good point Steve. Getting this car to hook is going to be a hard anyway. There are no progressive systems allowed. have to spray the 225 shot from jump street and hope it hooks. cant wait

I have a set of brand new in the box Afco double adjustables I will let go for $450 shipped. The only reason I'm selling them is we are going to make a full tube chassis out of the car. If your interested shoot me a PM.
