Those do look like bike tires. A word of caution, if you are going to do that, make sure they are rated to carry enough weight, at least 1000 lbs each. If you can get the tires for a bike like a boss hoss, those would likly be able to carry the weight.

If not, then I would caution against it, or at least be careful,. make sure they aren't bulging too badly, etc. Not sure on the ply ratings and whanot, 4 ply would be the minimum I would say.

I have seen this done before, stock 17's narrowed up for a bike tire. It was really stealth from any distance away. I don't know what that's going to do handling wise compared to a normal car tire. I'm sure tire life, will be short as most bike tires are a VERY soft compound compared to car tires too... if that matters to you.

Yea power isnt a big consideration when looking at front tires, its mostly about weight. Like JL said youll need to be sure of the load rating. Although it probably has alot of weight taken out that looks like a 4 dr B Body or something and probably started out awful heavy.

Looks like Lonnie Patrick's car, he runs xtreme drag radial in the PSCA. Lang Paciulli did that chassis I believe, I used to live just down the street from him and probably still have his cell number around somewhere. That car weighs 3400 pounds, so not that light over the front tires.

How's the purple car coming man?

Just wont make LA Invasion but it wont be too long after ill have it running and down at the track. Waiting for Escrow to close on the house this week but it comes with a 3 car garage and 2 acres that will eventually have a big ol shop on it for my toys

God damn, 2 acres in southern cali, you must be rolling baller style, with the real estate prices out there that would likly buy twice that here in CT, and our real estate is retarded expensive!

yes they are motorcycle tires, i built that car

the car has been from 3200lbs to 3615 lbs and at all weights has fallen out of the sky from dragging the bumper and no issues, same set of tires for the last 5 years, handles like a go cart

no soft steering reaction like front runners, he wont run any other tire

they are a real b#@$% to mount being that the bead is a lot tighter to the rim but we have never had any issues
