IAT I would put right at the top of the cowl, or somewhere that it will get a little bit of airflow just so it doesn't get too heat soaked. If you still have any of the factory cowl plastic in place when you're done, maybe in that so it can get a little airflow across it.

Travel limiters look good. Probably need to get a link or 2 out of th chain but they should work fine like that.

well we have been trying to get the car to start for 2 days now. it will start for about 1-2 seconds and then immediately shut off. the oil pressure gauge never moves either so im not sure what the deal is. for some reason the injectors are not pulsing. all grounds have been checked and all sensors have been checked. im not sure if its something with the ev6 to ev1 adapters or what the problem is but hopefully i will figure it out soon.

Well I got it running today but it has no oil pressure. Need to try calling moroso to see if I have the oil lines hooked up right.

Front fitting is pressure, rear fitting is return, per moroso's website:

If you are trying to push oil thru the filter the wrong way and the filter has a check valve to stop it from draining back it absolutely will.

I'd fix that before you try to do anything else first... try to fill the oil filter up with oil while you're at it.. that will only help get it primed.

There's an easy way to get the motor primed when you have a remote filter. Take the pressure line, hook up a small pump to a container of oil, start the pump, and prime the entire engine before you go any further. You can use a small/cheap pump of any type, just have to put some type of line from the filter to the oil line that feeds the engine. I'd feed it right into the filter, that way you know the filter is full too, and only the line from the pan to the filter has to get filled at the startup.

May seem like a pita, but it's safe... unfortunate thing about ls motors with the oil pump being driven off the crank like they are the only way to prime it with the factory setup is to start it.... but once you put the remote filter on it can be done alot safer/easier.

I forgot about the drain back valve on the filter. Hopefully the lines are crossed and its an easy fix. I'll update tomorrow after I check it out. Thanks.

Well it was an easy fix! Feed and return was backwards on the pan. Car fired with plenty of oil pressure. It sounds nasty, now to get it to the dyno for some tuning and hopefully make the mir track rental on the 28th!
