What lugs to mount draglites?
I'm trying to figure out what lugs I should order to mount these draglites I picked up used? the lugs that came with them seem to be too short, I don't know if I need longer studs or I need a spacer of a certain thickness? I am not sure on the backspacing, they are 15x10 and came off a 99 Trans Am I was told.
Here are the studs I am using:
ARP Wheel Studs, 12mm X 1.5, 2.5" length (late model Camaro, Firebird, and Corvette)
Here are some pictures, I have no idea if the lugs are supposed to be flat with the wheel? If I remove the washer they are close to the lip.
Without washer:
With washer:
On the stud:
The ones that came with the wheels are McGard 06316-12x1.5mm
Thanks for any help, I'd like to be able to run them next time I go to the track!

they gave you the correct lugs, which are shank style lugs, there a bitch and aggervating sometimes, but there definatley going in far enough on the wheel, if they were longer they would bottom out on the rotor causing the wheel to be lose, the lug stud should come through the wheel and catch the shank lug nut....
are you able to get the wheels to set up on the studs??? if so you will have to kind of wiggle it and move it as you start a few lug nuts

from the pics it almost looks as if your studs are to long... you may have to run a open lug nut or cut the heads off your shank nuts... does the studs come out past the wheels when there setting up on there?

I got all five lugs tightened down and I could still wiggle the wheel, I guess that is why I wondered about the length. Should I maybe run a small spacer? Like I said, not sure on the backspace, but they are kind of really close to the inside fender so maybe a spacer wouldn't be a bad idea anyway?
If so what should I get for a spacer?

Cool yah your stud is to long!! Cut the some of the head off your lugnuts you have now to convert them to a open lug nut, or buy some open end lugnuts, or you can run a spacer, I would start with a 1/4 spacer, your local wheel shop should have one!

OK so they make open ended lugs, I would get them in the same length then that these are? Anyone have a link or part number? Thanks everyone, well hopefully I won't need a spacer anyway?
Here is how it looked from the back of the car:
I seem to think they were really close to the bumpstops maybe? Or is that the area that normally gets hammered? I might get a day next week to put them back on and see what I'm working with clearance wise. Didn't seem like I had much grinding to do on the calipers, or do LT1 brakes just require less grinding than LS1 brakes?
