ok i have a stock converter, trans, long block stock
other than that many mods. i went to the track yesterday and i put it in regular DRIVE, not overdrive, and it feels like right before i hit the finish, my car hesitated like it was hitting the rev limitier, any ideas?
it has been dyno tuned

I'm thinking you're running out of fuel. My car was doing similar symptoms when it was starving for fuel on the big end. Either that or floatin the valves would be my guess. It couldn't hurt to double check where your limiter is set at, to verify you're not bouncin off that.

3rd gear is only good for 127 or so with 0 converter slip factored in on a true 26" tire. Figuring that your car trapped like 124-125 if you have the stock limiter its entirely possible it is hitting the limiter.
Whats your window switch set at? The car could be triggering the window switch to turn the spray off right before you cross the traps.

iam on a 275-50-15 et street, 3.73 gears, stock converter. i have the racetronix kit so i dont think im running out of fuel. it has been dyno tuned, my rev limiter is at stock
i went 11.2 at 125mph, so if 3rd gear is running out right around then, what do i do to?? i dont want to put it in overdrive...

if you're using the factory tach still couldnt it be "off" a little, ive heard and witnessed before w/ my own cars that the factory tachs are not spot on 100%. i would bump the window switch up a hundred rpm like cam said and see what happends, and also raise the limiter a bit. just b/c the limiter is set higher doesnt mean you have to **** on the limiter, you could just set it higher and shift at your current shift points and see if the problem is solved.

yeah i talked to my tuner, he said when i get my converter installed, we will mess with it, it wont hurt to bump up the limite 1-200 rpms. and then i can try to bump the window switch to 6100-6200.
thanks for the replies
