Default new BMR xtreme anti-roll bar install!

well as the car has been getting faster, the need for more anti-roll control has become more and more apparent. there are alot of different options for this on the market, and as any poor college kid, i looked at all the options very carefully making sure i spent my money once. BMR had a 15% off sale over thanksgiving, and i had some extra cash from doing some side work and scrapping stuff, so i jumped on it. here's some pics from today:

factory IROC bar still in place. this did OK, but even with trying to put some preload in it, i was way over powering this bar. if the tires ever broke loose, the car was all over the place, and would try to go left really bad

another of the IROC bar

IROC bar on top, BMR bar on the bottom

BMR axle clamps, they say these are good to 1.30 sixty before needing to weld them to the tubes

on the car

Thanks for the putting up some pictures of your install. Once you get it to the track let us know how it works for you and what you think of it.

This bar looks like a great option for a Stock Car, seeing how it's a 100% bolt in deal.

yup, and based on what BMR is saying, it'll handle some serious HP too.

I don't think you will have any issue running what you are wanting to run at all. That bar should handle the power and be capable of some real low 60 ft times.

set preload per one of my buddies with a fast thirdgen. took it around the block with regular street tires. it lights 'em up anywhere below 60mph, but when it did, it was nice and even, not kicking out to the side or acting a fool. i like it so far.

Whats the benefit of this bar over the regular xtreme drag bar? Just that its all bolt in?

This is the one and only xtreme anti-roll bar we build now. There are a couple benefits to our new design over our old design. One being the it's a bolt-in piece that requires absolutely no welding. The second is that the bar itself is adjustable so you can decide how stiff you want the bar to be.
