I have been meaning to do a wright up on this for a few weeks
The Power Cell lithium is 960 CCA and the Red top is 800CCA. The Power Cell Lithium only weights 9.1 Lbs were the Red top scales in at 39.68 Lbs A total weight savings of 30 Plus Pounds. When you break it down what your willing to spend on other stuff its a great bang for the buck and great weight savings with NO DRAW backs
Anyone Interested in one Pm me for details I do not want to post non sponsored links

Exactly... People don't want to spend the bucks but when you sit down and think when they spend double in front suspension or carbon fiber to save the same weight if not less

Can you charge those the same way you do a lead acid battery? And I assume that they have a 16 volt version...
Any weight comparison to a 16 volt lead battery to their 12 volt one? Curious about that... be an easy way to lose 40 lbs... I'd like to try to get the car 150 lbs under the weight limit so I can move some around as needed once it's done and right now without doing a set of carbon doors I am not sure if it's doable or not.
If there's 30+ lbs to be saved over a standard 16 volt battery this would be worth it to me (alot cheaper then the doors, and may be enough to get the weight where I want it.

Will do. It won't be for a while.. car's going in the shop end of this month to finally get the cage work done... found a trans at a pretty good deal going to try to grab that as well, once it's back I have a BUNCH of painting, wiring, reassembly, cleanup stuff to do, and get the motor started.
Once the motor's done, car is going back to the chassis guy, get the headers built, unless I get froggy and try to do them myself. Could happen but I'm planning $ wise to have them done... at that point I'll be looking for a battery. So, probably like 2 years at the rate I'm moving with this

Taking weight off the nose is a good thing.... but I was told moving the battery (a regular sized/weight one) to the rear is like moving the engine back 3"
If I was looking to cut every ounce I could.... I would be looking into this battery.

I don't know about the battery moving being the same as moving the engine.
I do know, that taking a junk PC680 battery out of the nose, and putting a full size one in the trunk was enough to put my junk on the bumper.... I didn't think that it was that close to wanting to stand up but it certainly proved to be the case.
