Default My new RSD NHRA 10.00 135 LEGAL cage!!

Well, my buddy is RSD's fabricator for all their cages, so he called me yesterday and said come help me build your birthday present, I was like no way, could it be?? Lol and it was... I'm so excited to get this bad boy in. Hes very detail oriented, takes his time and does awesome work. Let me also say this thing fits like a glove! Best part is I'm legal to 10.00 @ 135mph now! Some pics of the RSD cage build process... He had me doing all the bending and cutting.

I would like to see this installed. Especially the side bar where it meets the floor. That dont look like its going to attach to the frame? Is it going in that C5?

OP ya probably should change the thread title to rollbar, it's not really a cage.

A roll bar is what mid 80's trucks have in the bed with KC lights on it.. Everyone uses the word "cage" as a generic name.... who cares what he calls it, you know what he's talking about so who gives a ****.. I'm sure he seen your first post too, no need to say it again.

To the OP, looks damn good, especially for a b-day present!! I'm a bit jealous, lol.

You should really look at an NHRA rule book!

OP, nice looking roll bar!

What he said. I hate seeing the word cage used when it's really a rollbar. Not hating on the OP, but just trying to make sure the correct terminology is put out there so people can understand what is really required.

If this bar went into that C5, I sure hope you didn't drill 8 holes into your gas tanks.

Very nice setup.

Kind of ironic having a weld shop in a wood building though.

Man that is looking nice. I really would like to hear about the install and how it fits, and looks. I am looking into buying one, but am worried about fit. I am 6'4" so I need all the adjustability, of the seats, I can get. I also am worried about the front bar not fitting well with the Corbeau A4 seats in it now. Let us know how you like it, and take some more great shots.
