Comp eng & jegster roll bars I've done a few searches but the threads are years old. I was wondering if anybody else has tried these out recently. I'm looking into getting the mild steel 8pt bar for now. Im not interested in a CM cage right now due to costing 5x as much and well I've never welded CM before. The most relevent info ive seen on these basically say the fit is what you make it. These come notched now so that is a plus. I'm just mainly looking for current feed back and photos from these companies.
Sorry I can't comment on Jegs or CE roll bars but I considered them when buying mine. I went with an S&W 8pt, the jig notching needed no trimming. As with all of them the main hoop needed to be shortened, and I had to have the door bars slightly bent to get around the stock door panels.

Thanks, I was figuring the 8pt would be less testy. Figured a few hundred bucks, do it myself. Long as its not incredibly crappy fittig. I work with metal fab 8hrs a day....I live by the welder and sledge hammer
I too have heard the fitment of these kits are not so well, but have never attempted one. The wolfe is suppose to be top notch, but it does cost a lil more. Im sure you can make whatever work buddy.

Right on soto, i wasn't wanting to sink a bunch of money into it, not feeling like dropping a grand into my car just yet. I stick to the 1/8th mile, so as of now the CM 10pt just seems overkill for my turd car lol.
