Question can I remove EBCM

I posted in suspension and braking but got no response so i figured I'd give it a shot here. I'm ordering the SJM abs delete with line lock and the non TCS throttle cables and removing both the abs and tcs. (they dont work anyways) Can I remove the EBCM once the tcs and abs are gone? and if so what all can i remove with it?

You'll be removing the ABS controller (EBCM) and bracket with our kit. TCS you can remove that also if you want. It will be just sitting on the passenger side fender as dead weight.

The ebcm is the module under the dash. You can pull it out.

The EBCM can be removed, it has a few plugs on it, just unplug them.

I'll try and get a pic.
It is mounted on the drivers side, under the dash, it's kind of hard to see under there.

This is the Accelerator & Servo Control Module that's mounted under the dash, driver side. It says Trottle Position Controller on it. Some people call it the EBCM module. It has some wires going to the EBCM. You can remove this also.
The EBCM is actually in the engine bay screw to the bottom of the ABS controller.
I'll get a pic of the plug that goes to the EBCM. I don't have the EBCM, sold it a long time ago.

The EBCM (Electronic Brake Control Module) is under the ABS controller on the drivers side engine bay.

Sorry I repeated what you said above I was just supporting your info since others stated it was up under the dash.

I don't think unplugging the EBCM will harm the cruise control because I can recall having cruise when it was deleted. However, I would recommend unplugging it and testing to be sure.

I think you said it better.

No, the EBCM is located in the drivers side engine bay under the ABS controller (see post #10). What you're speaking of is the Servo Control Module which is used to control the throttle in the event of a traction control situation.
