Default Truck coils relocation places on a camaro

Any good write up or pics on relocating coil packs I thought about under the cowl but have seen people put them on the Kmember. I have the truck style coils that Im putting my my brothers camaro. Also I see a ton of brackets built for car coil packs but not the truck style

I made some brackets and mounted them on the frame rail. Used some all-thread with spacers in between the coils. Ill have to dig up some pics when I get home.

I extended the main harness and made my own wires. MSD makes a set of universal wires that come with the crimp tool/cutting gauge. I never made them before but it was pretty straight forward. I would also recommend to number or mark the coils to their appropriate harness.

Mine are in the dash right behind the motor below the windshield. When I trimmed the cowl back to the windshield it made a nice pocket to mount them into.
