Fastest WRX w/Stock Turbo Record
Had a little fun with my WRX since the Camaro is always broken.
We it all came together last night at atco raceway. Headed down and ran the WRX. Info on the car:
03 WRX Sedan
AEM Short Ram Intake
TXS DSBC
Greddy S Type BOV
Quick Time Performance Electric Cutout Down Pipe
Quick Time Peformance Long Tube Tri Y Header
TXS UTEC Dyno Tuned @ Turbotrix
Centerline RPM 17X7 Rims
Nitto 450 225/45/17
Full Weight with spare/jack. Only thing removed from this car was the baby seat
Installed the UTEC and Dyno tuned at Turbotrix on thursday.
Special thanks to Junior for an awesome tune.

Car felt good, Feels like can get more out of it. We squeeze 21 psi out of the stock turbo. Holds it to about 5500 then drops off to 16-17 psi right before i shift.
A little video compilation of it on the dyno and the run.

I spoke to 2 WRX owners there and showed them the slip and look at my car to verify it.
To say the least im happy with the time but there is still more to come.
Special thanks goes out to Junior@Turbotrix and Sean@Millenium Autosport for all there help.

Nice accomplishment, but why do they pull such pathetic mph? I would think a turbo car would have more in it than that? I assume the ET comes from the AWD launch?
Again, not bashin just curious.

The "low" mph is because of the amount of power the subbie is putting to the ground. Thats about all a 249rwhp will mph at w/ that weight. Imagine an Fbody w/ 249rwhp...Subbies are light but not that light. The e/t is from the great traction he is getting with the AWD and aggressive launch. Its all about putting the power to the ground fellows. 1.74 60's arent too shabby.

sweet dude, that car looks just like mine except i have stock rims and limo tint
the mph is low guys for the same reason a WRX gets raped against 2 wheel drive cars with similar power doing punches on the highway..AWD is a big drag..60 foots are killer but they slow down starting about the 330 mark or so, at least that's how mine feels.
nice time with the mods for sure man, nice job.

chris i don't visit the scooby boards alot but a couple months ago i saw a bunch of people posting mid 12's with basic bolt on stuff with STI's.
i think i saw one guy with a 12.60 with basically just exhaust and a boost controller.

Great times I also like the '04 models better, but still hate the wing.......does Subaru offer a wing delete option??
I still say I'd like to see someone keep the STi drivetrain; but swap in a TA Performance Aluminum Buick 3.8 turbo motor .
That would be sick!
