WS6 Joe Van O Hood or VFN
I'd really like to find a Joe Van O hood.
I heard he retired afew years ago.
Are there any out there.
If not the only other choice is the VFN 5" Sloped Hood.
Which is a very nice hood, but everybody has one.
Just trying to be different.

Ive got the VFN sloped and I like it, but I would love to get my hands on a JVO hood.
I think there's a guy on yb that can make them? I cant find his info to save my life but I will post it when I find/remember him.

I know someone who has a Joe Van O hood but it is off a 10.5 car and has tiny holes drilled up both sides from being screwed on a one piece front end. The hood is in Newtown Pa. if you're interested.

Every time I bring my car out, people ask me why I don't buy a "ram air" hood?*smh*
I wish I could find a pin-on extended sleek beak hood somewhere. If I could, my wiper cowl would be history right now...

Just talk to Joe, seems like a very nice man. Answered all my questions.
He makes 4 hoods, glass, lt. weight glass, cf and I think lt. cf.
They are 4" sloped.
Glass $635.00
Lt Weight Glass $750.00
CF $1150, I think.
Lt. CF $1350, I think.
He said the lt weight glass, is probably best for me.
Shipping around $250.00
He is not retired.

You better be a professional body man to get that junk to fit right.
If thats what you are looking for than I guess the joe van o stuff would be good.
It was 3-4" to big on each side and the same in the back of the hood.
It does not have the "wings" on the sides for those of us who take the wipers and plastic off the cowl (which most do that are installing a hood that touches the windshield)
For the guys like me who want the hood to fit or at least be somewhat close to fitting out of the box you will be HIGHLY disappointed with the joe van o.
We put a VFN on a car last week and it looked and fit better.
JMO.

Anyone who complains about a hood being too big should just buy them from someone else and stop bad mouthing the master. Obviously you are an idiot . It is so simple to get a VanOverbeek part to fit. What does it matter if you have to cut 3" off or 1/4" make the scribe line and cut it with zip cut .
Joe is my mentor and I work with him every day, know I understand why he wants to retire and get away from idiots.
