Sorry man I was asking Studderin!

But yes your car should be under 2900 with all the mods u have done so far. Thats a lot of weight yanked off the front end and if you lexan the front window and tube chassis most of the car then under 2950 is not unheard of.

Thanks for all of the replies guys. I would be happy to get my car at 3000 without me, but I think I should be close right now and I have another easy 50-75# to get out. After that it's going to get a little more complicated

keep it simple. no turbo system, N20, no coolers ect
just useythe min you need. Not just unbolting things, removing everything that isn't need with it, all wires, tabs. re make a simple alum brackets. 1 pound 50 spots. 3 pounds 20 spots ect.

I decided to just man up today and cut it all out. I bought a 36" piece of 1/2" DOM tubing that I'm going to weld in place of the top part that I cut out. I also cut a bunch of the lower radiator support out, but I left the nutserts for the air dam since my car is a street car. I need to clean everything up and paint it, but I'm happy with the progress I made today. Now I just need to steal the welder from my dad's shop

Thanks for all of the pics guys
