Just wondering what some people have ran with no cage. I know that safety is key in drag racing, but Im just wondering how fast some people have been with no cage/rollbar? 1/8 or 1/4 doesn't matter

wasnt me personally but a car we use to grudge race with 4yrs ago went mid 8's with no cage... yes we were very young dumb and didnt care at that time but we grew up and put a cage in it... first pass off the trailer i was told im just going to 60ft it and see what it does if it hooks and feels good ill shut it down at the 1/8th so we dont get in to much trouble... well it must of felt great cuz he stayed in it all the way out the back door. tech came running over screaming at us to pack up and get out... wasnt to fun of a day.

What that intake didn't come with bolts? My super did. It would be nice if they came with a stud, or if someone made one, and that didn't have so much play in them. Be waiting to see a 5.80 outta yours

Ive seen several guys dip into the 9's and tech guys come up and say not to do it again.
Thats just nasty.
