My concern is my 60... I just wish I could get it down to a 1.4 1.5... I would be happy then

I'll check out the vid when I get home and have a bigger screen. But try out the bottle again and see how it reacts.

its hard to tell from the distance, but it looked like it may have spun? but the engine sounded sluggish launching. I may have missed it in the thread already. What was your launch RPM there? What does it footbrake to again? what psi in the tires?

sorry, im kinda just thinkin bout where most engines powerbands are, peak torque is probably no where near 4500-5000 revs so why run one with a stall that high? i was thinking having a converter with too high of a stall is like slipping the clutch in a stick car until the 4500 rpm, like the point of stall speed if you get what im saying. i wanna see the new video with the 150 shot

This is launching barely above idle....even from 2k the car snaps into the power band instantly

You were asking about the drag bar... I have the Wolfe drag bar setup on my 9 inch, and I am really impressed by it. This thing is SO stiff. There is no more side to side flex at all. When I back my car out of the driveway it has to go over a little hump before it gets on the street and it always pulls a tire off of the ground getting out of the driveway. That's how stiff it is.

At least for me... Steel spool in the rear end + Wolfe drag bar = Launch straight and true EVERY time! Very glad I got this setup.

well a drag bar will be next purchase most likely BUT....

I really think the shocks worked and calmed the twisting down a lot so idk if I really NEED one right now and I don't think it will be that beneficial to lowering my short times at this time

You made any passes spraying yet? It didnt look to twist any off the line but it did seem pretty lazy.

Imo, I would install a drag bar. 1.42-1.44 sixty after installing a UMI drag bar and an FTI stall. Check out vids in my sig below.

I have a UMI drag bar on my car and it helped for sure but, I think the front shocks are as important as the rears you want the front to come up quick and set the rears on full stiff to plant the tires the drag bar will ensure the power is distributed equally.

I got to thinking today at work and idk if I'm just thinking stuff up so let me know if this is possible

Before with other trans and rearend I had 26" tires and it dead hooked.... Now I have diff trans and rearend with 28" tires
My thought process today was I have my torque arm mounted in the middle hole on relocation xmember... But since I went to a taller tire wouldn't I need to raise my TA higher on the xmember?

My pinion angle has always been at negative 2... Before the swap and I reset it after swap

It's just a thought ...

The twisting is back a lil bit but not enough wreck the 60ft Time. What psi is in the tires? To me it looks like your just over powering them
