I have not been to the track yet, but around town i'm running 6 compression 6 rebound. It comes with a cheat sheet to help you with setting to start with.

Well since we are still talking about the Vikings i will keep my information on them in here. I went to the track last night and track prep was not that good at all but did get like three runs in. I did not want to adjust to much because the track was bad. i could only get a best of 2.1 last night, the shocks really helped with the weight transfer but i find some more weak spots in my suspension. Car is now squatting and pulling to the left a little so i may have to check my LCA length and make sure its centred. So in a nut shell i need some more seat time and I'll update then.

Went to the track yesterday only could get 2 full passes but I really love the new shocks. When I launch the front end comes right up and plants the rear tires but got my best 60' ever and haven't even adjusted anything so much more to go. Between the tire and the shocks everything is working great!!

Do you guys happen to have a picture of the top of the shock and spring assembled? I am in the middle of install and am confused with the top mounting. It came with a top mount but I am starting to think I dont need it and just go back with the rubber mount and then the "dogbone" piece?

i'm lost on what you are asking, if you are taking about the shock and spring you will use even piece of that assembly.

OEM. Rubber upper mount is what you will use.

in your first picture that black bezel on the shock rod sits on the silver bezel ring, so you have to extend the shock rod out so it can reach.

In your second picture that is not right you have the black part on the shock rod below the spring, that black bezel and silver on is what centers the shock on the spring... I hope i wrote it right so you could under stand.

No Problem! Its not a bad job to do but if you try to use the old parts like shock mounts it gets frustrating
