Once the solvents evaporate out of the paint/clear, it does not weight much at all. I bet a car will run the same number with or with out paint.

This guy probably doesn't know alot about LSX cars because he drives a
'68 Outlaw Camaro with a 738 ci BBC w/ 3 stage fogger. And NO alternator!

The paint alone might not make a difference but if you take 20 lbs. in many places it adds up.

I have heard of people wrapping a car because it is lighter then paint.
