Looking to cut my 60' times some
I almost don't think I am getting enough squat. The 60' from the run this picture is of was a 1.69.
Info on the car:
Mild LT1
Yank SS3600
3.42 gears
MT ET Street 26x11.5
QA1 12 way with 300lb springs upfront
Stock rear springs/shocks
QA1 subframe connectors
Lakewood rear lower control arms, relocated in lowest hole
UMI torque arm relocation, second from the top setting

How much power does the car make? Because I know that with my car, mine dynoes 380whp with a 3200 stall and 4.57's and with the new MT pro tire I am power limited on my launch. I can full transbrake launch the car and it dead hooks and does a 1.63 sixty foot. It could be that you just need more power or more gear.

I leave off idle.

Actually the rear is lifting as it wants to plant the rear tires and the axle wants to rotate up.
Maybe try some different launch techniques ? But I think you're at the limits on that converter/gear combo.
