Default Who makes best wheel scales?

I need some scales for checking the weight at the 4 corners and total weight. I tried a set of the wireless type from Proform and they were horrible. They were 300 to 700 lbs different every time I weighed my car. Needless to say I sent them back for a refund. They were a $1000.

Now I'm looking at a Intercomp set with cables for $1300 from Jegs. Will these work good or is there a better brand out there without spending $3000?

I've had good luck with my set of Longacres. Scaled over 10 cars this weekend without an issue and I've probably scaled hundreds total.

I used a jack to let the car down on the scales. The rear is pretty easy to do but you have to watch how you do the front to avoid placing a side load on the scales. Even the rear ones would not repeat accurately with the Proform.

Ordered the Intercomp today. Guess I'll know in a few days if they work.

Make some wood pads roughly the same size and height as the scales so once the car is on the pads you just toll the car on the scales .

Got my Intercomp kit today. So far they seem to work great and appear to be very accurate. Took the car on and off 3 times and they repeated exactly.
Now I need to learn what's needed for loading each wheel. What are the basics?
