Default Inner fender plastic wheel well things

Do you dedicated track cars run these or leave them off?

Thanks
Mine are a bit beat up from turning hard with tires that were too wide and I don't want to buy new ones to make it look mint again. When I took them off to get my door bars out I was going to order/find new ones then thought Why?

Cool

These also cause a massive amount of air pressure in the wheel well's at high speeds. Venting these, or removing them does work! You will gain some top speed with this mod only

Edit: Myself, I would not do this if you have the wire tuck mod done... just my 2 cnts...

So it's more mph with them out?
Looks like it would be smoother air with them in?
Or am I thinking too hard

The spinning wheel pressurizes that pocket. With Ferrari for example the rears are vented to the fins under the rear bumper. Wish I could remember the model, but this is the reason they do it. The rear of the car has the stabilizing fins much like the Viper did if you remember that one. They channel that pressure out the back through those lower fins and increases its top mph they say

I have run mine both ways, zero change in MPH. NHRA requires I have them in Super Stock, so they are back in.
