I am going to start out at a 175 shot and work up to a 300. I will be going a 100 shot off the line on a leash controller and then a 200 on the fogger on the controller as well. my white car weight should be around 3000

You are motivating me to keep going on my winter teardown. Can't wait to hook with you guys at 41 this year even though you both will be faster than me.

I have been N/A cam only 6spd, and plan to spray 150 shot this summer. I don't mean to pirate the thread but why the difference in the gear ratio n/a to n2o? I have 3.73 now with 27 inch tall tires.

See ya at 41. and the gear diff is because n/a you need the gear to help the motor stay in the power band and get it off the line. on n20 your adding alot of power all at once so with that power you need less gear. the power will come on faster and harder so to help it stay in its power band and speed you gear it down other wise it run's out of steam fast.

I'm wondering if the 4.56 will be to much gear

With the car being so light ...

Based on your tire selection of a 28" slick and assumed growth of 1", you will be going through the traps around 7300 rpm at 138 mph. (This would get you to a high 9 second pass assuming a decent 60' of a high 1.3 to low 1.4.) Provided that your motor will rev that high, I would go with those 4.56s. Glad to see that you will be rowing the gears. Good luck.
Being extremely familiar with the LS7 clutch, you may wish to rethink that if you have the option to do so.

Thank you.
Those high 1.3s low 1.4s are awesome. Your new ride should be more than capable to exceed that.
Keep us posted.
