Removing front bumper support
Finally got around to removing front bumper support.
Do you just fab up some kind of brace to bolt the bottom of the nose to.
Also need to mount the fog lights to that brace. They are the only lights I have up front. No headlights.

Going to try this before buying a aftermarket bumper support.

You can get by with a piece of aluminium angle. If you use a narrow angle material you will need to add a piece of plate to extend the fog light mounts.
I had 2" X 2" 3/16" thick angle, drilled full of holes, with fog light tabs TIG welded in place. Gave it to a local kid when I made it into a legal NHRA SS car.
Have to have the factory steel bumper in place now.

I tried using modified factory pieces but wound up not liking it and I also need the space for fans and cooler so now I have a Burkhart on mine...it freed up a lot of room and running only fogs on mine as well.

What we need is a carbon front bumper for these cars...would lose so much more weight than just swapping to a light weight bumper support. I need to talk my buddy in to that after we finish the dash
