Bump,,
This thing is way to nice for the car! Took me two tubes of panel bond to secure for those thinking about doing this.

If you added this to a T top car would any metal need to be trimmed on the car?

No trimming but you will have to add in the non T-Top roof rails plus hardtop weather stripping.

RooF rails @ MWC

Silly question I suppose guys but do you all send decent instructions to guide someone through this process?

There is no written up instructions but when you have the roof rails in hand it will make sense as they follow the lines of the factory non T-Top cars are. The install of the roof is test fit the roof and then use 3M panel bond like factory and use a little pressure where there is panel bond until secure.

Removal all depends if you want to try and keep the old roof panel. Most use piano wire to break the factory glue free.

I won't be trying to save the old roof panel at all honestly unless it could possibly help someone else out. My car being '95 didn't have the bubbling issues that some of the newer cars have. Honestly my main concern will be with not hurting myself while doing the job and not tearing up anything I'm not supposed to.

If you look at the picture above with the roof off it would be extremely hard to hurt anything below the factory roof. Not saying it can not be done but nothing under there to really damage metal wise.

Does the windshield have to be removed to install this? Also do you weld in the hard top roof rails if the car is a T-top car?

Depends if you take any material away once the factory roof is off.

I'd like to paint mine if I do this so primer color is fine no gloss carbon **** for me.

Our clear finished ones we will be offering soon will have the body line and already trimmed. The grey gel cot also has the body line but is trim to fit.

How soon to get a pre trimmed one with body line? we talking weeks or months? I'm looking to do this in January possibly once i'm past Christmas and can put money into the car again. What is the pricing on those? I know it will be more because it is supposed to be shiny and finished but I'll just paint over it anyway. I want to see if the extra cost is worth not having to trim and fit the damn thing. time is money and I don't want to dick with it. I'm no body man lol.
