7.3 to 7.0 is it do able?
7.3 to 7.0 is it do able? My car is a 5.7 with street heat 2 cam, ported 241's , Ls6 intake ,ported tb, UP, 1 3/4 pacesetter headers, true duels, 4000 stall, 3.73 gears. I'm running 1.60 60ft @ 7.38 1/8mile. I want to get to 7.0 N/A. What to I need to do?
Mph 92.76, qa1s front and back trying to learn how to set them up. LCA' s, adj. torque arm. 15 3.5 fronts/ 10 back. Rear seat taken out, a.I.r and get deleted, front support removed, driver seat removed and kirky installed. Spare tire and Jack removed, front sway bar removed.
You want to go 7.0 N/A? I noticed you didn't mention a budget at all. 
So... on that note, go ahead and grab a FAST 92/92 combo and some Trick Flow 215's, or grab some 243's to send off for a CNC job by WCCH/TEA/AiResearch. That should give you a pretty nice bump in hp, and should be able to get you to that 7.0 mark.

You are correct in the fact that 1 7/8" headers will flow more, and will make more power on your combo. But looking at your combo and a good order to buy parts in... you stock size throttle body, and a stock unported head are what is killing your power alot more than 0.125" on your primaries. Search around for how much power people have made on 1 3/4" pacesetter headers. You will be amazed.
But I guess what I didn't explain before, is you kind of have to analyze your own ET to see what it is missing. It looks like as of right now, you are not going to be able to get that much more out of your sixty foot, and even though 92.5mph is not BAD for a 7.3 run, if you could get the car to trap 96ish, I believe that is going to be your ticket to 7.0's.
