What is the fastest time for a cam only, stock heads, NA M6 LS1??
Thinking about sticking a cam in soon and just wondering what I would be up against!

Didn't Abdulla run some sick numbers cam only?

With rebuilt heads (valvejob done, ports and valves are stock) I ran 11.71@118.8 and 11.73 @ 118.99 back in december

Abdulla has the title with Smoke UR 5.0 behind him.

I'm hopeing to claim the fastest cam only A4 now if i can just cut some of the 60fts. some of the bolt on guys are cutting then i might claim it with ease.

Abdulla has it at 11.59 I think. I tried to top it but couldn't hold out on the heads. I did get a 11.66 at 117-118mph though.

Engine mods were:MAC's with OR, Lid, ported maf, ported tb, random tech exhaust, ASP, K+N.

Didn't even have the LS6 intake on it when it did that.

I just installed a Thunder Racing 224 cam on a 114lsa with the stock heads. I'm heading to the track Sunday to see how it does. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

I used to have a B1 cam and went 11.90@117.72 (1.76 60') last year. This was with stock 10-bolt/4:10s and stock LS1 intake.

With stock internals a few weeks ago, the car went 11.80@115.66 (1.69). However, I do have a 12-bolt, 4:30s, and a LS6 intake now. The car is also ~75-85lbs lighter than it was before.

I'm real excited to see how this setup turns out.

How did you launch your M6 with the stock 10 bolt and 4.10 gears to get that 11.9?????

I've got a 01 with stock 10 bolt, 4.10 gears, B1 cam, Nittos and can't seem to get better than a 2.0 60ft with a 12.9

I was on ET Street launching at 3500. The best the car went on Nittos was a 12.1@117 (1.95 60'). Your best bet is to buy a 12-bolt. Without a doubt, the best mod I have done to the car yet.

I'm going to the track in a few weeks (with some suspension mods) and I'll nail an 11.5...

well im sure its not the fastest but my 1/8 e.t. and 1/4 e.t. are in the sig. both done at seperate tracks. i think that 1/8 mile e.t. is a pretty good one imo, the 1/4 e.t. is lame

Fastest A4 cam car is my old bolt on twin AZZKICKER <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> 11.65 i think and im hopeing to run by that this sunday with a 11.50 range ET with some nice 60fts. and drop another 50lbs off the car by then.

I just ran a 11.96@114 tonight with a T1 cam. It's definitely not the fastest but it's an 11. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> .

What tires were you running Jamie? Any weight reduction..? My best with T1 cam and 3.42's was 12.28 @116mph with a 2.0 60ft.. I weighed the car with me in it that day and it was 3750lbs.
