HVAC Delete plate was just ordered as well, so the whole HVAC system will be out once that comes in. We tore out the AC system, under trays, inner fenders and a few other little things last week. A lot of weight has come off already and we still have quite a bit more coming out.

Once we pull a bit more out of her we will get her on a scale.

Took the heater core/HVAC system out today. Our theory was right....if you hit it enough with a hammer it comes out.

Now to clean up the inside. Time to strip down the wiring harness, and get this thing looking good. Trying to decide if we want to put any interior back in or not. I personally would like to get some lightweight carpet in there and put the lightened up panels back in. Figure the whole interior would be under 100lbs. Inycoddjobz wants to keep it a tin can with a zip tied cluster haha.

man I would have liked to seen what it would run with all the weight reduction and no bolt ons, other than the rear end and suspension, then go from there.

I've always wanted to take a bone stock 6 speed car and do a full suspension setup with a good clutch, a set of 4.56s or 4.30s out back and some 28x10.5 slicks and give her hell. I mean stock to the paper air filter.

Just got some wheels/tires(Thanks BlackSheep00). Looking to get a converter ordered this week. Any recommendations? Looking at PTC or FTI. This is for a TH400 behind an LS1.

Also going to pick up a short torque arm, and coil overs/shocks. Thinking about Vikings for the front and comp or strange for the rear?

Current plan of attack for this week is going to be:

1) Paint and Install HVAC Delete Panel
2) Install Water Pump "U" Hose( As well as flush coolant because it is apparently green and dexcool too...awesome....)
3) Remove Front Sway Bar and Mounts
4) Remove Front and Rear Bumper Supports
5) Remove Door Panels and Speakers
6) Remove Driver Airbag

Once this is done, it should be on the road to going back together, kind of. Next session will be a wiring harness attack. The car will either end up with a nice cleaned up harness, or on fire....who knows.

Nooo hah. I need to remove all the random wiring that goes no where no because we removed that stuff. But electrical annoys the crap out of me, so I may just light the car on fire if I get frustrated.

Got the wheels and tires in today. Starting to stock up enough parts that we can begin putting this together soon.

It has been a few weeks haha. So far we have gotten the full exhaust and lid on. I began tackling the wiring this week, miserable. Tracked down the passenger side rear part of the harness yesterday and removed most of it. Still have quite a bit to do, if anyone has any help for interior wiring removal, i'm all ears.

The car is gutted, and will remain this way essentially. Keeping exterior lights, gauges, power windows, locks(may as well since BCM is staying probably), hatch release, OBD port, and 1 cigarette lighter(tuner request). Other than that, I want the wiring gone.

Inycoddjobz took the car for a spin today, apparently the speedo, tach, and gas gauge do not work; but the oil press and coolant temp do. I am going to try to track this.

Trying to decide right now between these 3 options.

1) Remove excess wiring, keep BCM.
2) Remove excess wiring, delete BCM.
3) Rewire the entire interior, make my own harness.

Option 3 is obviously the easiest and lightest.

As of today I have decided...I am going to do the only logical thing. Start ripping **** out, and fix what I want to keep. BCM is going. Just a little confused about the fuel pump relay thing?

The fuel pump is the easy part. The windows is what confuses most people. For that, just google reverse polarity and you'll be on your way. No need for relays for the windows, just get you a double pole double throw switch and apply what you learned from google.

I began stripping my harness down, as I am removing the BCM and have hit a mental block haha. Damn lack of sleep. I have a few issues if anyone can help me out with them.

Since the BCM is deleted, the large connector going to the BCM serves no purpose, as it is connected to nothing. Correct? Can I just cut all the wires, trace them to where they go and de-pin them?(Exception being the yel/blk starter relay wire which I am going to ground)
