Always working and always scheming on this thing. I want to do a TH350 or even a glide once the chassis is stupid light, just a little afraid it wont make enough power for the glide's first gear. But I want a 7" converter lol. This FBO record is gonna be tough! Other than porting/swapping the intake I cant see the engine making much more power after I install my EWP. Maybe a small Alt. will help a little too...I read somewhere yesterday about some new coil packs from pantera EFI. So its all down to weight after the 4.11 swap and chrs1313 for big chunks of E.T. I cant wait to cut the front end off!!

Pantera EFI : Coils
Hi Jenson, thanks for your interest.
MY LS coils AND that these and the IGN-1A coil have been in production for more than ten years of PROVEN use should be known.
What coil would be be interested in fitting ?

Intake installed...finally! Im not sure how some guys are getting the stock hood latch to work. I modified mine heavily to no avail, gotta get some quick latches now. 4.11 rear end and ally drive shaft are also in, hopefully I can install my ABS!/linelock/manual brake master this weekend. Hoping for 11.5 next time out

This brake master setup is killing me! The master cylinder I got has a 3/8-24 rod...our brake pedal has a 7/16 mounting spud...so of course the rod end that came with the kit doesnt fit the brake pedal (3/8 to 3/8 rod ends). Has anyone else run into an issue like this? Do I have the only 7/16 brake pedal?
Edit: Apparently, judging by the bolt in the picture from SJM's site, your supposed to drill a hole in the brake pedal. I was about to that point anyway lol

Im finally done rebuilding the L76 in the G8. This thing is ready for the track, I just need to wire up the line lock sometime this week. And I really need to run power to the window box so I can use the windows again, gets hot quick inside this tin can!!

I went to commerce Friday, was decent DA for us @1300. By the time I got there though the track was already crap. My best 60ft was a 2.19. I got to weigh the car though, 2840 car only and 3030 RW and I did see positive pressure with the intake on the top end.
