Well I thought I knew what happened. I put the car on the lift last night and really looked at it with a light and none of the welds moved. Now I don know what the hell is going on. I ordered a bumpsteer rack kit just to be sure. All of the balljoints and tie rods are in excellent shape. My mind is blown. I either blew the tire first or that rack fucked up.

HArd to tell because no one got a good video but all of my friends think I blew that brand new tire. There was a puff of white smoke right as I crossed the traps.

Damn.. How does the steering feel now? Maybe it was the tire, anything look like it rubbed on it?

What about the opposite side brake caliper? Is it functioning? You do have a lot of heat right there at the passenger front tire though...

Brakes are all excellent. Took it for an hour cruise tonight. Made a few hits. All is well. A few people asked about heat but there hasnt been any change in 3 years.

I sold the enclosed trailer and picked up another flat. To try and reoupe some money from my wall mishap. I get 17mpg instead of 8 with the enclosed. So I can race twice as much! Loaded up and ready for saturday.

The open trailer makes you more approachable at the track, less like a stuck up douche. Kidding aside you've worked for what you have and will have it all back again. I'm sure you could have scraped by without getting rid of the nice trailer but sometimes being an adult means you have to do without some of the luxuries. Your hobby is still paying for itself one way or another so still no need to complain.

The gas mileage was dictating how far I would travel to race. I didnt like that. It just wasnt worth spending $3-400 for gas to travel to a track. I already drive 2 hours each way and not joking uphill terrain both ways. Not sure how but its a real thing lol. So Id spend $160 in gas to get there and back.

I hate header wrap with a passion. I cant stand the material that comes off from it over time. Ive thought about sending it all out for coating but I dont have any under hood heat issues. So I havent bothered.
