Switching over to strange brakes to try them out. They are black so look sweet.

Hopefully I can keep this vibrant piping nice and shiny.

I have to work on the exhaust a little bit. Its a little goofy looking to me. But Ive been advised by super fast guys to point it up or back. I never noticed anymovement on the front of the car last year but they say it does. Might as well use it to my advantage if so.

Thanks man. It means a lot! I have a lot of hours into it as a whole. From start to finish in just 3 years. I have learned a lot. Mostly from trial and error.

It really drives me to improve! Im fortunate to have come this far with it.

I ordered furick 8 cups because of the above posts. I had to get the adapter kit so I can order fupa cups too later if I don’t like the 8’s. I didn’t go with the 12’s because I felt like they wouldn’t fit in tight spots as well, I know you can stick the tungsten out further but that also means using more gas. I’ve got a lot of welding to do when I build this next turbo setup so I try to make the gas last.

On the initial and more grey welds the pink 7 and 8 cup. Real inconsistant and not as colorful.
I switched to the fupa 12 and even around 25 cfh it is blue, purple, red, and looks awesome!

Yea the 12 is a little larger. It hasnt been too much of a pain over the 7/8's I used before. Id like to get a glass cup next so I can see where Im putting the tungsten in tight spots.

This is one heck of a build. I’ve read the entire thread before but now can’t remember if it’s in here somewhere or not but what does this car weigh? Not raceweight just the car

I make it to Kaleva once in a while, but hoping to do more this year, maybe k town showdown. I have a black 98 ss also, but nothing like yours! would love to check it out sometime.

Its taken a bit to get it here but it was 3,380 with aluminum 5.3
3,025 with the iron lsnext.
Recently about 2,800 with the aluminum lsnext

With the cage and the bigger turbo I am expecting it to be about 2,950

Sold the axle, tq arm, anti roll and rear wheels. Awaiting the new narrowed setup so I can measure and order some 15x12's.
