I almost feel like this is a whole new build thread. But miraculously it's just the next chapter in the SAME build!!

Yeah same car is right. Don't start another thread. Just keep on doing what you're doing!

Looks good and I'm a little jealous. Also looks like you'll need to switch to light beer and start some yoga classes to make getting in and out a little easier.

I wouldn't say fat but chubby, thick boned or just bloated like myself all the time might fit the bill. I put intermediate oval seats in my car which are like half assed containment seats and it sucks getting in and out. I'm guessing about the same as the funny car cage but without the forward bar off the door bar. I do have intentions on putting the funny car cage in mine also but have been putting it off. Mainly because I've lost interest in it but some day I'll turn the spray on and end up with boost I'm sure.

Like so so many other I watch this thread and say "man I can do that or man my car will be that fast" truth is we don't have the dedication to stick with it or we would be there. I said it before in here somewhere keep on keep'n on because your doing a great job.

Ive gained some weight the past 5 years. I guess part of getting older and think eating dinner at midnight followed by a box of cereal isnt helping lol.
I used to work out and stayed around 205 but havent had time in a few years to stay dedicated.
When I got back from florida a few weeks back I felt fat. All I did was eat while on vacation. I was 240 pounds! First time ever.
So Ive cut out the late night snacks and can after can of soda.
Im already down to 225 as of this morning. Ive been to the gym 15 times in the past few weeks so thats huge lol.

Hoping I can get back down to 205 in the spring. Ive been 230/235 the past two years.

Those are my lucky dice! Ive had them since 2007. They bitched at me for having them for a while. I finally just let them hang.
I made my first 11 second, 10, 9, 8, and 7 second passes with those dice.

Finally finished this damn thing. I need to add 3 small gussets tomorrow and its done. Damn I never want to do one of these again.
Im getting it set to where the upper cage bars will pass 25.3 but Im not adding the floor braces for now. Give me something to do when I dont hate welding so much haha.

Either way. It should be an overkill 25.5

How fast are you planning it to be and what was your fastest pass before all of this?

I went 7.5@182
5 psi launch and 2.2 second boost ramp. I didnt get anymore time to work on the car.
The 1/8th mph was so good I could have ran .2 faster there. So with a few more track days I could have done some high 7.3/low 7.4's

Im planning on going 7.0@199. Because if I say 6.99@200 Ill never make it and be let down. But if I do it, thatd be cool.
