Tried a little too hard here. Threw in the last 6 psi of boost I had tuned for from the dyno and threw a degree at it.So 37-38 psi down track. Holy **** does this thing fly.
Horrible pass and still 4 mph faster to the 1,000 foot than I have ever been.
Oh well. Atleast the crowd thought it was cool.
Coil failed on me which is weird. Right about 189mph. Thought I blew it up somehow. For whatever reason it Shot to 45 psi and hit boost cut so i let out. Maybe the unburnt fuel or heat in the turbine. Idk. Strange lol
You know those moments when you hear something and you can't really say anything but swear words...?
Well that's where I've been the last 3-4mins lol ho-ly **** dude. I know my chit would have ruined the track for the night lol keep it up!! I f'n love this car!
As a few people know. I took a deposit on the Camaro back in August. The guy has been struggling to come up with the money but it looks as if he is going to pull through. So I have decided to get into a chassis a little more competative since I am hanging onto the street car theme.
So I decided to pick up this 25.5 Calypso foxbody. To run the street car classes It needed all glass, stock style suspension etc. I had optic armor so I couldnt compete in the street car class this past year. So Im excited to do that now.
So sadly the best 1/4 pass I made was a 7.22@191 and 1/8th stuck at 4.62@155. Just didnt have time to get a handle on the wheelies.
Ill miss this car for teaching me so much but Im excited to learn about these triangulated 4 links just a tad bit more!
