sounds good...is there going to be a weight penalty. or dose the Ci rule just stand?? e.g no weight penalty for running a 402/409 in a 400Ci class.

AWWWW YEAH! It's only March, and I'm REALLY pumped for this event! I'll be entering brackets for sure. I just have to wait to register because I'm going to be moving this spring. I have a feeling that there is going to be a HUGE turnout! <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Great setup Angie!

Is there anyway of posting the NHRA rules for et & mph? If I had a rulebook I would do it. Might be useful infor to have on your site, and may eliminate some headaches for you on race day.

I plan on being there, but don't feel I will have a setup that is competitive in any classes.

432ci hydraulic, factory manual, fully loaded, non-poweradder, 10" slicks.

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Modified Stock Manual Transmission Class (MS/M)
F-body Only Race

MINIMUM WEIGHT w/ DRIVER (RACE WEIGHT):
3500 lbs

TIRES:
10.5 Tread-Width Slicks
12.5 Sidewall DOT
No "W's"

TRANSMISSION:
-Factory Manual Transmision Only

POWER ADDERS:
None Allowed

Maximum Cubic Inches:
-400 ci
-No Big Blocks</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Remember how Joe Kizzire always said Colonel was always trying to get a class catering to himself? LOL! This is the JOE KIZZIRE class! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

The only class I can enter (besides brackets) is:
</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">
Pro-Stock Class (P/S)
F-body and Y-Bodys can race in this class.

MINIMUM WEIGHT w/ DRIVER (RACE WEIGHT):
3200 lbs (I'm at 3600 and don't plan on less than 3500)

TIRES:
10.5 Tread-Width Slicks no problem
12.5 Sidewall DOT
No "W's"

TRANSMISSION:
-Any Transmission my poor T56, those damn TH350s!
-Trans-Brakes allowed I'm screwed!

POWER ADDERS:
None Allowed

Maximum Cubic Inches:
-440 ci I can handle that <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">How come manual tranny cars get their own class in everything except the faster classes? I'd love to see a Pro Stock Manual class, even though Judson will kick my ***. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

PS, I think solid-roller cammed motors should have a +20 cubic inch displacement handicap added to their actual displacement. This might put some of them into another class altogether.

I may show up as well, although it would be a pretty long haul for me. I guess I would fall into the Pro Stock class, since I will not add weight to my car to get it back to 3500lbs for some of the other classes. I wonder how well my new "under construction" high-revving 346 will fare against some of the big cid cars?

Good point George, seems like trannys are more of an issue with these classes than actual engine setups. Kind of backwards huh?

I think I'll just bracket race <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Could you modify the requirements in the "Modified Stock Power Adder Class (MS/PA)" from just single turbo to also include twin turbo.

Thanks

I need the stock class to allow for exhaust to exit in front of the rear tires.

I'm looking at the MS/M class. I've got to get a cage first though <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I'm curious why there are different classes for the vettes. Are they scared of us little ole F-bodies <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
