sounds good...is there going to be a weight penalty. or dose the Ci rule just stand?? e.g no weight penalty for running a 402/409 in a 400Ci class.

AWWWW YEAH! It's only March, and I'm REALLY pumped for this event! I'll be entering brackets for sure. I just have to wait to register because I'm going to be moving this spring. I have a feeling that there is going to be a HUGE turnout! <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Great setup Angie!
Is there anyway of posting the NHRA rules for et & mph? If I had a rulebook I would do it. Might be useful infor to have on your site, and may eliminate some headaches for you on race day.

I plan on being there, but don't feel I will have a setup that is competitive in any classes.
432ci hydraulic, factory manual, fully loaded, non-poweradder, 10" slicks.

PS, I think solid-roller cammed motors should have a +20 cubic inch displacement handicap added to their actual displacement. This might put some of them into another class altogether.

Re: Thunder Racing Southern Shootout --> Info Inside!
I may show up as well, although it would be a pretty long haul for me. I guess I would fall into the Pro Stock class, since I will not add weight to my car to get it back to 3500lbs for some of the other classes. I wonder how well my new "under construction" high-revving 346 will fare against some of the big cid cars?

Re: Thunder Racing Southern Shootout --> Info Inside!
Good point George, seems like trannys are more of an issue with these classes than actual engine setups. Kind of backwards huh?
I think I'll just bracket race <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Thunder Racing Southern Shootout --> Info Inside!
Could you modify the requirements in the "Modified Stock Power Adder Class (MS/PA)" from just single turbo to also include twin turbo.
Thanks

I'm looking at the MS/M class. I've got to get a cage first though <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I'm curious why there are different classes for the vettes. Are they scared of us little ole F-bodies <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
