As you can see I decided to give up the bolt on game and drop in a cam.

Alan Futral of Futral Motorsports installed his F4 cam in my car on monday and did some tuning on Tuesday. So, I went to No Problem Raceway to try it out tonight.

My Stock internal best was an 11.59@116, and last friday I ran a best of 11.61@115.25. I'm using this last 11.61@115.25 to compare because the weather was pretty much the same.

1.549 (spinning)
7.24@93.55
11.417@117.92

tonights 2nd best
1.561 (still spinning)
7.25@93.78
11.418@118.03

I'm stoked for my first time out with this new FMS cam. With just a Cam, springs, pushrods, and tuning change I picked up 2 tenths and damn near 3 mph. I think if i were to hook i'd see the .3 gain in et also (putting me in low 11.30 range!)

It seems I've hit the limit of my little 26X8.5 15 ET drags.
This friday I'll head to state capital dragway with some 26X10 15 et drags to see how it goes.

Also, this is still with the 3.42's in the car, and I think I can pick up atleast .5 mph with some 3.73's.

I'd like to give a Big thanks to Alan Futral for all his help with my car. And a middle sized thanks to Gordon Sevin for his help at the track tonight.

What was your 60ft. with those stock internal Times in your orig. post? Thats really movin for a cam only.

Mike,no doubt 11.3x with some bite.You sound real happy with the combo and I would be too.

Mike,i would see if you can borrow some 10in ET Drags and see how they do before you buy them. I think a 15x9x26 Hossier slick will work well for you,since they are a little shorter sidewall.

NPR wanted to boot me, but AJ let me slide...once.
SCD booted me after 2 passes.

New best BTW, with only change being rear tires (26X10 15 et drags on bogarts!) Dead hook 1.57' 11.40@117.89. My rear end is making some weird sounds and my sixty foots are obviously lacking. I've got some sorting out to do, but 11.30's are right there <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Streetstalker i'm glad that you're not coming down to race me this weekend. I changed valvesprings yesterday but my car has no headers,plugs,wires,etc right now. I'll finish it up on Monday. I'm installing longtube headers, wires,valve springs,seals, plugs,fuel filter. I'm just doing a spring freshening up. Frank95z
