Default First time using Hals at track.

Itll be my first time Im using front Hal's at the track. What setting do you guys like to run? I run 9 on the street so I was thinking starting at 3 or so. Will this effect launches without an air bag?

Also whats a good PSI for ET streets? 15 PSI cold?

15 psi is good to start with, if you have tubes you can usually go lower....

I try anything from 0-4, just have to play with it and see which way launches the best

The only suggestion I can give is that you should try to run as much tire pressure as possible. Obviously without spinning. It will give you less rolling resistance. What I like to do is start a little higher than you think you need to go. Then adjust from there. I run 14 -13 depending on track conditions. The car 60' s in the 1.50-best of 1.442.

I run my HAL's back 6 front 3.

With 0 in the front and 4 in the back I 60' in the low 1.40's. If traction is going away from me I loosen the rear a notch

If the front end of the car is lighter than usual, do you tighten up on the front or loosen up? I know everyone's settings are going to differ, but I would think they would be really close. I cant seem to keep my front tires from coming off the ground, however, my 60 fts. really suck and Ive been told that it might be that my shocks arent set correctly. I usually run them between 0-2, but Im thinking that it might be too loose. What do you think?
