New guy making first ever forum post! Hi guys/gals... I picked up a nice 94 LT1 that has some good mods. I have been to the track and made 14 passes so far and the best I could manage was a 13.1, 105 trap, 60ft 2.03... Nitto 555R for shoes, I was told the dyno saw 375 RWHP from the previous owner. I am a total newbie when it comes to drag racing. do those times look like what I should be expecting with these mods?

Remove some weight, dial in the suspension, gear and stall accordingly and you should get those times down considerably. I ran my old stock bottom end LT1 to the best of 11.04 @ 122.

Previous owner was expecting low 11's on the motor. I appreciate the you guys stopping in to share your stuff.
BOLO... THAT *** MAN!! (the car, not you lol) I love the look of that rear end with the tire/stance. I'm tucking some 305's but those you got there look sweet. Pretty cool vid, My local track closed for the season so I will be hitting up GLD here soon.
What type of suspension are you guys running? I have the KYB adjustable right now and I don't feel much of a difference when I switch the settings.

Spinning would be an understatement. I finally did a massive burnout on one of the runs and realized on the launch why I wasn't hooking previously, I wasn't properly heating the tires up.
When I would to try to stall it up for the launch's with terrible burnouts I would just start spinning, knowing I now have to heat the hell out of the tires I'm itching to get back to the track to hopefully put all this together and make a pass I think this car is capable of.

I too am feeling after 14 passes and a best of 105mph that I'm not going to all of the sudden find another 10mph... but thats kinda why I'm here, to find out what I dont know. I was expecting more out if this LE2 spec motor. Guess I will have to just get back to the track and try and improve on what I got before arming the bottle.
