Oh really?

Can you tell me how many other people here cut 1.32-1.35 60's @ 3470 lbs race weight and Factory Stock setup on the footbrake AND the transbrake?

Whats your 60's with your car? Damn if my cars 1.35 60' footbrake isn't setup right, yours must really be f**ked up.

No ruffled feathers here.. after all I am just about the fastest 346ci LS1 on here, its all good.

Holy cow.
Ok, here's MY take on this stuff.
My heads have never been off the car.
I have a G5X-2, ALL the bolt ons.
I have a TH400 with a 2.45 1st gear( not a 3.06 4L60E)

I would have run DEEP in the 10.70's @ NvsS if I was not bracket racing.

I will get a bigger cam and go faster.

What about when you were dialing in the car before the actual brackets that day, why didn't you run it out then? Were you sandbagging in the brackets that day? Just curious since before I get in the brackets I run my car out to see what it's going to do that day then gauge my dial in on that number.

Yes I was sandbagging

I was running slower earlier.
the 1st 2 runs are throwaways, then the car picks up, always.(maybe have to do with disconnecting the battery)
My first 2 runs were 10.92 and 10.87 on 1.51 and 1.52 60's
the mph was over 125 on the second pass.
then the so -called "brackets" started.Car got up to potential (1.46) 60's
I was catching most people by 660' and peddling the car.
My 660' were WAY better than my 10.77 pass(et and mph)

If I had guys cutting good lights and running on thier dial in, I would have broke out.

One of those lucky days I guess.
I ran 3 'practice rounds', but nobody REALLY knew what was going on, so I just let off
after I caught them.(Just to be safe)
I came to win brackets, not ET race.
I would have liked to run them out,But I was focused on doing what it took to win.

Without a doubt - with the caveat that it also requires a properly-setup converter (not too tight or too loose....rare in "street cars").

About as many that have a built, solid roller 347 and 5k plus stall.

Is you car a cam-only car? I really don't see why you’re dragging your car into this. I am talking about cam only cars,(not F/S) which have for the most part, have been the street type cars. What is your best cam-only 60ft and I will tell you if I am impressed or not.

I am impressed with your car. Great times...Think it would run that with a 4l60e?

Btw: get that transbrake looked at cause you’re leaving time on the table. I am sure you already knew that.

here ya go roger, my heads have never been off the car, bottom end is complete stock, rings, bolts 50,000 miles its weight is 3475lbs.
definatly cam only, 100% stock original transmisson. it went 11.11@122 w/1.48 60ft on stock shocks in 2500da about 20min after jason went 11.08 in his. then in better weather he went high 10.7's with 3250lbs.
im in the process of doing some weight removal, so come our first decent cool front i dont think 10.8's will be a problem.

Not arguing that, i agree 100%. I'd like to see what Sean's car could do with a bigger cam.

BTW, when you gonna spray that bitch Sean? Isn't the 'verter that's in it now set up as more of a nitrous converter than an N/A converter?
