DynaBatt vs Hawker Genesis G16EP Is anyone familiar with the Genesis G16EP battery? After reading the research, they appear to be one and the same (DynaBatt is a rebadged, HIGHLY marked up Genesis G16EP).
I'm on the verge of buying the Hawker, but I wanted to see if anyone on here had any experience with them first.

Re: DynaBatt vs Hawker Genesis G16EP Do you to buy an adapter for the battery to be used with the GM battery connectors. If you have to something, where do you buy it and all other parts to make it work on the LS1 engine. I notice this battery weight eleven pounds whereas the dyna weight 13.5 or am I off target.

Re: DynaBatt vs Hawker Genesis G16EP I have had a dyna bat in my car for a year now. I've only had to jump the car once and that was when the car sat for a week during record low temperatures. You cannot just leave the headlights or radio on though, for this is sure to kill it.
You can purchase adapter posts at any automotive parts store. Mine were called "marine adapters" and they simply slide over the post. Once there they extend up about an inch and have a threaded hole the size of the stock battery connections.
