Default 500hp camaro 411s 1/4

I have a 1999 camaro that I have been building over the past year. It made 500hp n/a and I’m going to try the 200 shot tune at the track this weekend, It has 411 gearing ford 9 28 inch slicks with limiter set at 6700 full double adjustable shocks and twin disk clutch. My question is will I be at the top of 4th? and what should I expect for track times N/A and with spray? Any launching tips? From what I’ve gatherd 6k launch without spray and around 3500 with..

Ah that makes more sense, otherwise I was gonna say that's a damn strong LS1 lol. You should have plenty of gear n/a, but likely not on a 200 shot since it stops at 6700

so so are saying I’m going to hit 5th with the spray? Is there anyway to figure out 4th gear top
speed with 411s in 4th?

Yeah there's a gear calculator for the T56. Looks like about 136 mph at 6700 with a 28" tire

You are good NA. Regarding 200 shot of nitrous it all depends on how the hit occurs. Is it ramped or all in when you leave the line for example. I would consider going to 7,200 rpm limiter and leave shift points the same and see where you are at when you pass the 1,000 foot mark.

Of course you should consider starting with a smaller shot of nitrous and go from there. Oh I hope the rest of the Powertrain is up to a 6,500 rpm 6spd leave from the line.

Good luck N2..

I ran 11.9 at 119 all motor and I could only get 11.1 at 132 with spray.. When I was purging the nitrous after the first run it didn’t seem like there was anything other than air coming out.. not sure what was going on pressure was good.

The N/A 1/8 mile ET and MPH is a little soft for what the 1/4 mile MPH was. Shifting at a low RPM?

You gained 13 MPH from the NOS, that's a good gain!

Do you have an RPM window switch on the NOS? I noticed you were launching with the NOS at 3500. If it were to bog down below 3000 with the NOS still on, that would be really bad.

Im running a wide open throttle switch here’s a few vids of the car any help in getting me into the 10s?

I had my bottle facing the wrong way so I’m assuming that was causing my issues with the spray

all motor 11.9

second nitrous runs 11.2 127

first nitrous run 11.1 @ 132

When my car had a head/cam Ls1 w/ 4.10s, my 1/8 mile mph would be in the 93-95 range. My 1/4 mile mph was in the 122 mph range. I think it has to do with a soft launch. I ran drag radials and didn't dump the clutch. Automatic cars would have a better 1/8 mile mph. At that time I always ran 26" tall tires so my gearing was a little better.

I have the same setup and my 3-4 shift is right at that 93-95 mph area. I've often wondered if that had effected my 1/8 mph just a little
