My friend cerakoted the headers and crossover for me.
I wasnt happy having 3 different intake pushrods with all kinds of different pre load. So I called on comp for a perfectly ground cam with only 1 intake length and very close preload.

Looks so good, like how the drain flange for the turbo is welded into the cross bar. What was up with the other cam, some wild grind or just poor QC?

Probably would have been better in a different combo. With the titanium intake valves, lash caps, and short travels it had 2 different pushrod lengths for the intake and it didnt sit right with me. Mainly because all of them had slightly different pre load. When there is only .005+/- of give i didnt feel good.

the new comp had one size and very very close all across the board for pre load.

Right? I had my buddy Ben Bradfield out of hamilton michigan do it. Did a great job, did it in a week and charged me $230.
I wanted to leave the option to run son gold accented wheels in the future. Also in case I decided to coat the coldside black I didnt want too much black.

Surprise. I started it two days ago but It didnt run as well. So its on the final assembly/wiring and down hill slide! Enjoy the video.

I have a pretty extensive list of things to do to this thing first. But Id think Ill be ready in about 3-4 weeks. Im going to go over everything with a fine tooth comb and get it ready for the dyno soon. Put some shake down miles on it since its new top to bottom. Then dyno it to make sure everything is A1. looking promising so far.
