I love the color. I love the camera options and technology.
I honesly miss my white 6.2 gasser more.
Obviously this one tows easier. But as mentioned above. Fuel economy is not nearly what people claim them to be. Maybe my elevation/grade/speeds with that 90" interior height trailer.
But I am a little dissapointed. truck feels slower than I imagined. but has plenty of pulling power.
That is crazy it is only getting 10mpg on average. I have a 2013 short bed Crew and it gets 21 empty on the highway, 18-19 around town, and 15-17 pulling a 24ft enclosed loaded depending on weight and grade. I have a 44ft goose neck enclosed now with triple 8000lb torsion axles with big brakes. When its all loaded up, truck and trailer, it is grossing 21500lbs and it gets 13 to 15 depending on the grade. My truck seems to get the best fuel mileage running 70-73. Running 80 drops it significantly for some reason. Pretty happy with mine. Actually pretty impressed on how well it does with the goose. Thought the wind would kill it, but to my surprise it doesn't bother it bad at all. As for how quick it is. Mine put down a 1.97 60ft at the track in 4wd with the A/C on by mistake. Lol. It's bone stock too. Very impressed with the trans to say the least. 100+ degrees outside and never gets over 175 pulling the goose loaded. Seems like its always in the right gear too.

I should have bought a gooseneck. Everyone I know with them get better mileage than bumper pulls.
Trailers were a tad slim pickings. I got a pretty good deal on this one after waiting months for the one I ordered to never come in.
When is the first planned outing for the Calypso Fox?
Im quite a bit behind schedule being that I waited 4.5 months for the turbo and 4 months for the heads. So they arrived during the busy time of year for me. So Ive been thrashing to get the car done.
Tomorrow I am going to reset the ride height. I lowered it an inch or so. Scale the car.
Hopefully get to the dyno monday.
Then race it this thursday- saturay at battle of the titans at us131.

Wish me luck with this no test time lol
Sending all the luck your way brother! Will be looking forward to dyno day and battle of the titans! What class(es) you running in?
I always have and always will love this car. And as mentioned many, MANY pages ago (using GT talk) I still have first dibs if/when this monster is for sale lol I missed my chance with the F-body!!
CANT WAIT to see what she runs Kenny. Keep up the killer work. I always look forward to your updates here and YouTube.

Ive debated this fall for sure. The competition up here is turning to chassis cars real quick. Im one of the few hanging onto an all steel all glass car that you can actually drive long distance.
I scrambled for two weeks to finish this thing. overnighting parts. trying things here and there. trying hard to learn more about the ecu swap. Finally after many nights of beating my self up on no sleep. The car was ready for the dyno weds at 1:15 pm. I headed straight over ....
between the turbine, converter, ecu, porting the intake, and making some small tight adjustments. this thing made 1,700 on 27 psi and quit hooking with anymore. so I rolled it off the dyno weds at 6:30 pm. Loaded straight up and headed to grand rapids for the titans race.
We get up early for testing thursday. Im dry heaving from excitement. head to the track. leave the car on 30 psi and it blasts right down broadway. My mind is blown.
I peddle a wheelie barely off the ground to be safe because its the first pas since november with 100 new parts in it and boom. 4.61@165!!
