Do a couple more .5's a couple more aborted passes. I wait for the sun to start fading out and blast one with a quick stab of the gas when it starts to wheelie to ensure it dosent and bang. 4.46@167 on 32 pounds! all on a relatively shitty 60. even compared to last year.

I end the night off so happy i went and ate good. partied a bit. celebrated. Best feeling ever. First time out I run better than my entire past year. BUT it aint over yet. I have two more days!
So next day. First pass. I turn it up. add some nose weight. see what happens right?

YOU READ THAT RIGHT. 170 MF MPH on 36 psi of boost! Id really like to know if anyone knows of any other 1/4 cars on ethanol going 170 mph!
Damn Im over the moon now. HOLY ****.

Mike knows his cylinder heads!!! People always say BS on 4.4x's with a hydraulic roller and a set of his heads. I know of 2 other rides that have been in the 170's with a VERY similar combination. 1 went 174 a few weeks ago. I am wondering if I could get all that good **** stuff into the front of a 62 vette? I need to do some measurements and see. Can I pm you for some total width and length off the front?

I have a cowl hood for it so it isn't so "race" looking. I may just do a big single with the BBC that's in it. Would you be interested in doing something over the winter?

Big Congrats to you Kenny and a job well done!!! I don't know you personally, but I believe you are very deserving of a successful track outing, great dinner & drinks to wrap the night up. So congrats to you Kenny. Keep us updated over the next couple of days, I have a feeling a KILLER pass is on the way!

Unfortunately the weekend ended. I didnt end up getting it completely sorted. towards the end of the weekend we enabled the gyrocope and used pitch angle of the car as wheelie control. IT works super awesome but damn does it slow it down.
Yanking timing itll really hover and ride the converter opposed to flash in low gear but there is infinite amount of tuning and power management to learn and apply from here. Super successful first weekend out. no complaints. personal bests everywhere on the slip other than the 60. super focused direction for the future. o just need more time now!

Super stoked. even if i left it alone its going bottom 6.8's peddling down low lol.
Exceeded my expectations. 6.6-6.7 by fall shouldnt be an issue. i guess we just play the weather game during the summer now.

Get the front end to stay down and work with all the magic in the fuel tech and you'll be in one hell of a repeatable ride I'm sure.

Still an excellent report in my book for sure. I will be here to watch your journey and I appreciate the content you post for us.

On that 4.46 pass, did you have a deep pre-stage causing the deep stage or was the bump too aggressive? You have the ability to adjust bump aggression?

That was the first time I used the bump and it was aggressive. I have it tamed down now. Ill try to post more vidoes in a single video soon.

Watching your car really makes me want to get after it on building the turbo motor for my car. Won't be anything as bad *** as a 170mph car, but damn, maybe one day.

I havent heard from him in quite some time. Last time he text me he asked me if I wanted to buy it back because he just didnt have time for it. The time before that he said it was fast. The time before that his mother was sick. A lot of different stories.
I usually feel for people but that guy was something else.

Guys I did it! Blazing hot. 91-92 today. 130 degree track temps again. so it was touchy. Spun a few but laid a few down. Only regret was pulling the chute early on my first pass as it was likely the best. son of a bitch did 187 at the 1,000 foot!
