Now that I have your attention, please keep this thread in the proper context. It is in good fun to try and get some friendly competition and spark some interest at the MMRA Race that is just around the corner. Please...no flames....its all in fun.

With the pleasantries out of the way...I'm challenging any and all 'Bolt-on' LS1 F-body's to some side-by-side action at the MMRA race in Montgomery, Alabama the last weekend of this month.

Weak bolt-on Cobra vs God-like bolt-on LS1. No internal engine mods and MMRA rules in effect (this mainly restricts open headers and gutting of the interior). It would be nice if ya'll would have mercy on my low-HP pony and weigh at least as much as I do (prolly 3275-ish with driver), but I guess I can't ask for everything. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I'm primarily picking on the M6 cars (mainly cause I have an M5....and also because I have a better chance of beating them...LOL), but I'll play with you stab-n-steer/push-n-go guys too, if you must. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

1st one to the finish line wins. Nobody cares about MPH - nobody cares if you miss a gear - nobody cares if you get there second - nobody cares if you were asleep at the tree. First one to the finish line wins

I will be at the MMRA event and would like to run your Mustang. However I am not a M6 but an A4. The car only has bolt-ons.

Should be a very good run between your bolt-on Mustang and a bolt-on LS1.

I have run MUCH slower than 13.85 - no kidding. We all screw up here and there. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Just remember that "all mods" bolt on. How about a 422 with a 200 shot of nitrous in a 3000 lb LS1? Remember,it all bolts on.
